“TBEA” photovoltaic grid-connected inverters passed the on-site low voltage ride

On July 19th, 2012, the “TBEA-GC-500KTL” photovoltaic grid-connected inverters independently developed by TBEA New Energy Co., Ltd., by right of its prominent performance in Golmud high altitude area, passed the on-site tests of short circuit, low voltage ride through and response to abnormal (perturbed) frequency.
The on-site tests were jointly carried out by a team composed of 13 experts from National Energy Solar Power Research (Experiment) Center of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute and Qinghai Electric Power Research Institute. And the tests are according to the standards of Q/GDW 617-2011 Technology Provisions on Power Grid Access of Photovoltaic Power Plant, Q/GDW 618-2011 Test Regulations on Power Grid Access of Photovoltaic Power Plant and Scheduling, and Qinghai Operation Management Provisions on Photovoltaic Power Plant. The on-site tests include short circuit, low voltage ride through and response to abnormal (perturbed) frequency.
In August 2011, TBEA grid-connected inverters took the lead to pass the full-function test of low voltage ride through (LVRT) by National Energy Solar Power Research (Experiment) Center of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute and obtained test report. TBEA products passed both laboratory and on-site tests of photovoltaic power plants by national authoritative institutions, indicating that TBEA grid-connected inverters are completely in line with the stringent requirements of state grid on grid connection. It also means that TBEA’s over 70-year electrical design experience and more than 10-year experience in solar photovoltaic power generation were highly recognized.
